LOCAL FAVES

Your girl loves a bargain, but quality will always trump price for me. However, I've been buying from Gold Mall Jewelry  since I was in high school and I've never been disappointed by the quality and definitely not by the price of anything I've ever purchased. I like jewelry that you can wear while doing everyday tasks including showering and working out without worrying about it getting tarnished and I get that from them so they definitely are a fave!

Lex S Styled is a fave for obvious reasons - her outfits NEVER miss -. She curates stylish and timeless pieces for her clients and does all the hard work of sourcing those exact pieces for you. So all you have to do is wear the ensemble and steal the show. She's a girl that gets it and it wouldn't sit right with me to not put you on.

If there is one thing I'm going to do, that's moisturise my skin and I love a good, thick body butter. A lot of the times though, I find some to be more oily and less moisturising; but  the Silken Skin Concepts  Tussah/Eri Gold combo is literal silk on your skin. I love using them together but they definitely can hold their own. The icing on the cake with these and the other products sold by Silken Skin is that they are all vegan so they're made with all the good-for-skin awesomeness.

Most of my love from The Face Place Salon stems from the fact that they formulate their own products and they work! I have such sensitive skin and I find that their products work the best for me because the ingredients fight the acne but never dries my face out so my eczema is kept at bay as well.  Let's not even get started on a Face Place facial! I love it there.

My skin and I have such a tumultuous and beautiful journey and through that, I have found so many products - both local and international - that have been so great to her. My current favourite spot though, has to be Korean Skincare Jamaica! KBeauty products and my skin are like peanut butter and jelly and I'm super happy that I found a company that exclusively supplies me with those products.

I remember when I just moved to Kingston for school and I found it so hard to find a stylist that was versed in both haircare and hair styling. I kissed so many frogs before I found Beauty Fetish by Tan. What I love is that they cater to both relaxed and natural hair so if you're currently a relaxed girl and you plan on going natural, you don't have to panic about starting your search for a stylist all over again and vice versa.
